RevMotion lessons
Prepare before selling
Before submitting a car, boat, motorcycle, RV, trailer, or equipment, collect the facts that help RevMotion review the opportunity.
- Year, make, model, trim, VIN or HIN.
- Mileage or engine hours.
- Title, lien, loan, payoff, and owner information.
- Photos, video walkaround, damage notes, and maintenance records.
- Seller asking price, lowest price, and net amount wanted.
Understand title and lien status
Title and lien information affects whether a buyer can move forward. A clean title, a loan payoff, a missing title, or a lien issue can change the next step.
- Know whether the title is available.
- Know whether a bank or lender has a lien.
- Know the payoff amount if there is a loan.
- Do not hide ownership problems.
What photos should show
Clear photos help reviewers understand the physical condition before a call or visit.
- Front, back, driver side, passenger side.
- Interior, dashboard, mileage, and controls.
- Engine, motor, tires, trailer, hull, or damage.
- Use honest lighting and show problems clearly.
Buyer readiness
Buyers should know their budget, payment plan, timeline, delivery needs, and whether they need credit or funding readiness support.
- Cash or financing.
- Down payment available.
- Estimated credit range.
- Delivery or inspection needs.
- Must-have features and acceptable condition.
As-is does not mean careless
An as-is opportunity still needs clear information. Buyers should understand condition, title, known issues, and inspection options before moving forward.
Platform fee awareness
RevMotion may earn a disclosed fee for coordination, listing support, or platform service. The fee should be clear before next steps continue.
